SMS / Text Messaging Program Terms and Conditions

Dedicated Sitters, LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Dedicated Sitters") located at 7332 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70808, offers an optional SMS/text messaging program to communicate important information related to our non-medical senior care services in the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and surrounding areas.
 

This program allows us to send recurring automated text messages and/or calls (including prerecorded or autodialed messages) from (504) 420-7914 to the mobile phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

You may receive messages including, but not limited to:

Appointment reminders
Availability updates
Service updates and confirmations
Sitter confirmations
Transportation details
Care schedule updates
Account alerts
Health tips and important care-related news
Special offers related to senior sitter services
Other information related to our companionship sitting, respite care, dementia support, post-surgery assistance, errands, hospital/hospice support, and personalized senior care services.

Message frequency varies. Up to 10 messages weekly may be received. Message and data rates may apply.

 

Consent and Opt-In
By checking the consent checkbox on our Client Intake Form (or submitting other online forms where consent is presented) and providing your mobile phone number, you provide prior express written consent to receive these recurring automated messages and calls.

Full Opt-In Consent Disclosure (as displayed on the form):
I consent to receive automated text messages and/or calls (including prerecorded or autodialed messages) from Dedicated Sitters (504) 420-7914. These messages may include appointment reminders, availability updates, service updates, special offers, and other information related to senior sitter services.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Standard messaging rates will apply to any replies you send (e.g., STOP or HELP).

Double Opt-In / Welcome Confirmation
Upon successful opt-in, you will receive an automatic confirmation message:
Welcome to Dedicated Sitters! You've successfully opted in to receive senior care updates, appointment reminders, and special offers. Message frequency varies (up to 10 messages weekly). Disclosures in Every Message
Every outbound message will include a compliant footer, such as:

Opt-Out Instructions

To stop receiving messages: Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, CANCEL, or QUIT) to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
Confirmation upon opt-out: "You have successfully unsubscribed from Dedicated Sitters texts. You will no longer receive messages. Reply START to rejoin if you'd like updates in the future."

To request help or more information: Reply HELP to any message.
You may also opt out or request assistance by calling (504) 420-7914 or emailing maria@dedicatedsitters.com.
Opt-out requests are processed immediately (or within a reasonable time consistent with carrier requirements).

 

Additional Compliance Information

We send messages only during reasonable hours (generally 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM in your local time zone, per TCPA/CTIA guidelines).
This program uses 10-digit long code (10DLC) numbers registered for Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging.
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices, FCC regulations, and applicable Louisiana laws (including HB 577).
Prohibited content (e.g., related to sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco) is not sent.
Your mobile opt-in consent data is never shared with third parties for any purpose.
We maintain records of opt-ins, opt-outs, and disclosures for compliance purposes.

We use your mobile phone number solely to send you automated messages and calls related to our services. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law.
